Rudresh Mahanthappa: Samdhi

One of the more consistently innovative and restless creators currently at work in New York, saxophonist Rudresh Mahanthappa celebrates the release of his newest CD, Samdhi, a kinetic mix of heady jazz, electronica and elements from Indian traditional styles. His capable bandmates here are guitarist David Gilmore, bassist Rich Brown and drummer Damion Reid.
