Ryuichi Sakamoto

Still fondly remembered for his work in pioneering synth-pop band Yellow Magic Orchestra, Ryuichi Sakamoto has moved on to become an actor, a soundtrack maven and an estimable composer of achingly lovely concert works. You're sure to hear selections from playing the piano, a recent two-disc set of wistful solos and electronic collaborations. Sakamoto filled NYU's Skirball Center not long ago, so expect a jammed house here.
