Salzburg Marionette Theater with András Schiff

Pianist András Schiff embraces his inner child in this Carnegie Perspectives concert, which features the whimsical puppetry of the Salzburg Marionette Theater. The troupe will perform Debussy's toy chamber ballet, La boîte à joujoux. Schiff will accompany the piece on piano and keep the playful vibe alive on solo pieces by Schumann (Kinderszenen) and Debussy (Children's Corner). The family concert on Sat 5 jettisons the Schumann, along with a large portion of the ticket price.
