CMJ Music Marathon. Sarah Lee Guthrie (granddaughter of Woody, daughter of Arlo) and Johnny Irion perform their smoky, lived-in folk and roots rock as part of an unusually rustic CMJ bill, also featuring folksinger Tom Chapin’s daughters, Abigail and Lily. Further down the bill, there's more usual fare from BK boy-girl duo Kaiser Cartel, whose moody pop songs have featured heavily in TV show Bored to Death; and Brooklyn's Emanuel and the Fear—an 11-piece ensemble that makes clap-along chamber pop—opens up at lunchtime.
