Scott Amendola, a Bay Area drummer whose approach fruitfully fuses strutting funk, textural avant-rock and thorny improv, settles in at the Stone. This promising residency orbits around collaborations with three outside-the-box guitar masters: Charlie Hunter (Apr 7–8), Jeff Parker (Apr 9, Apr 11 at 10pm) and Nels Cline (Apr 11 at 8pm, Apr 12).
