Scott Weiland and the Wildabouts

Booted from Stone Temple Pilots a couple years back, alt-rock survivor Scott Weiland is still kicking. We've always felt he was a more talented singer-songwriter than he was given credit for (his 2008 solo album, "Happy" in Galoshes, was an overlooked gem), and Blaster, which marks the debut of his new solo project, the Wildabouts, captures some of the same glam-grunge swagger that made old STP such a gas.
