It’s unlikely that the mid-19th-century composers of Shaker “vision” songs ever imagined anything like the wacky postmodern spin on the tunes offered by saxist Jeff Lederer's Shakers n’ Bakers, whose interpretations reference klezmer, gospel and free jazz.
