Teenage Canadian pop singer Shawn Mendes is signed to Island Records and opened for Bieber clone Austin Mahone earlier this year. His first and only single, "Life of the Party," could pass as a One Direction side project if the singing weren't so wan and uninspired, a small fact that didn't stop this show from selling out.
