New England–born and London-based, Nico Muhly has nevertheless picked New York to host several of his world premieres this season—and we couldn't be happier to hear them. Tonight, top-notch ensemble SIGNAL gives a first listen of his Stabat Mater. Also on the bill is the U.S. premiere of Sir Harrison Birtwistle's The Corridor, a sonic exploration of the Orpheus myth's climactic and tragic moment.
