Simone Dinnerstein and Havana Lyceum Orchestra

Pianist and Brooklyn native Simone Dinnerstein has been on an incline of well-deserved acclaim since her stunning recording of Bach’s “Goldberg” Variations a decade ago. At this show, she brings one of her biggest projects to date to Central Park with an all-Mozart program at Naumburg Bandshell. The concert is the third on her East Coast tour supporting her new record, Mozart in Havana, with the young virtuosos of the Havana Lyceum Orchestra. The tour marks not just the first time the orchestra has come to this country; it’s also the first time an orchestra of this size has come to the States from Cuba.
