Smoking Popes + Girl in a Coma

Smoking Popes, a Chicago band that played emo before it was called emo, come to town supporting This Is Only a Test, the group's third album of new material since its 2005 reunion. They'll more than likely knock out their Clueless hit, "Need You Around," too. All-gal Texas trio Girl in a Coma has toured twice with Morrissey (of course) and sounds like a surfy, rockabilly Smiths.
