Somi

Born in Rwanda and now living in Harlem, singer Somi has performed with Paul Simon, John Legend, Hugh Masekela and Mos Def, and honestly, she sounds more like Sade than Sade does these days. She's just returned from a 15-month sabbatical in Lagos, Nigeria, and tonight previews her forthcoming album, The Lagos Music Salon, with a full band.
