Sondre Lerche + Oberhofer

Norwegian singer-songwriter Sondre Lerche earns a lot of Elvis Costello comparisons, because he does guitar pop in a tuneful, brainy way. Both men are also committed pop polymaths, more interested in demonstrating stylistic range than creative focus. His latest album, Heartbeat Radio, mixes it all up, and nicely. Also on the bill is Oberhofer, whose namesake, the super-young Brad Oberhofer, creates one-man bedroom indie pop you'd think was the result of more sophisticated techniques.
