Sonic Boom + Crystal Stilts

Sonic Boom (a.k.a. Pete Kember) cofounded the proto-shoegaze unit Spacemen 3 back in 1982, with Jason Pierce. While Pierce went on to form Spiritualized, Kember has explored synth-driven sounds with Experimental Audio Research and Spectrum, and in 2010 he produced MGMT's Congratulations album. Expect ecstatic fuzz at tonight's show, with support from Brooklyn's top Jesus and Mary Chain fans, Crystal Stilts.
