Sonnambula

Choreographer Michael Bodel uses Bellini's mysterious bel canto opera La sonnambula as a springboard for this performance piece. Employing cellist Malina Rauschenfels's arrangements of Bellini's arias in combination with dance, aromatics, dramatic lighting and puppetry, he recreates the hazy experiences of the titular sleepwalker, played here by soprano Casey Cole.
