"Soul to Soul: Stax’s Al Bell and Melvin Van Peebles" and "Dixie Fried—The Life & Music of Jim Dickinson"

This pair of conversations—the first with Stax’s Al Bell and filmmaker Melvin Van Peebles, and the second with the North Mississippi Allstars’ Cody and Luther Dickinson (sons of Jim) and producer Sid Selvidge—add an educational element to Lincoln Center's always well-informed Out of Doors Festival. Head outside after the talks for tunes by Steve Cropper and other legends.
