Time Out says

“Play every concert like it’s your last” has always been this intrepid foursome’s motto, and the excitement the group brings to its work bears out that claim. In town for the American Mavericks festival (it's featured in Tuesday night's concert with the San Francisco Symphony), the quartet offers a budget-friendly program showcasing string quartets by Haydn (Op. 20, No. 5) and Dvorak (Op. 105). Baritone John Moore and pianist Anna Polonsky provide a Schubertian interlude, performing songs from the composer's Schwanengesang.
