Steel Train + Girl in a Coma + Yawn

Steel Train's CSNY-esque sound has all but disappeared on their new album. A self-titled effort, the CD reads like a statement of intent announcing the band's arrival as an arena-pop band. It remains to be seen whether they'll ever get there literally. All-gal Texan trio Girl in a Coma has toured twice with Morrissey (of course) and sounds like a surfy, rockabilly Smiths.
