Stephanie Stone and Friends

Along with her late husband, Irving Stone, pianist and singer Stephanie Stone helped to support the nascent downtown improv scene in word, deed and generosity to an incalculable degree; not for nothing is her name on the front door of John Zorn's new-music laboratory. Bassist Greg Cohen and drummer Mike Sarin join her tonight for a set of songs and reminiscences.
