Syd Arthur

Behind the quaintly evocative name and the bushy hairdos, Syd Arthur is a fine young Kentish quartet hailed by the English press as the second coming of Canterbury prog rock. (One of its members is Kate Bush's nephew, by the way.) We don't actually hear that scene's slapstick whimsy or flagrant chopsiness in Syd Arthur's smooth-yet-scruffy psych-pop, but there's a lot to like about the group regardless.
