Sylvie Courvoisier is a compelling, physical pianist most frequently encountered in duet with husband Mark Feldman, or in the trios Abaton and Mephista. Solo tonight, she'll no doubt lean toward her contemporary-classical training, as she did in the rich, knotty and engrossing compositions on her recent Tzadik CD, Signs and Epigrams.
