Next Wave Festival. Classical music and the club scene are not mutually exclusive according to violinist and composer Daniel Bernard Roumain, whose new piece enlists the talents of Brand Nubian's Lord Jamar, postmodern Renaissance woman Cynthia Hopkins, choreographer and former Urban Bush Woman Millicent Johnnie, hip-hop photographer Jonathan Mannion, lighting designer Miriam Crowe and director DJ Mendel.
