Talvin Singh + Kunal Merchant

A pioneer of the U.K.’s “Asian Underground” scene, tabla player and producer Talvin Singh hit big in Britain with his 1998 debut, Ok—one of the first mainstream records to fuse ambient drum ’n’ bass and traditional Indian instrumentation. He’s touring behind current release Drum + Space (released under the name Calcutta Cyber Cafe).
