Tamaryn + Lower Dens + Robert Lester Folsom + No Joy and more

CMJ Music Marathon. Devendra Banhart and Phosphorescent collaborator Jana Hunter's band Lower Dens crafts shoegazey, colorfully off-kilter pop songs on its debut LP Twin-Hand Movement, out now on Banhart's label, Gnomonsong. The group shares a bill with two-girl guitar duo No Joy, which has been attracting a ton of buzz lately, thanks to its rich, effects-slathered shoegaze pop.
