Tan Dun and the Metropolis Ensemble

Lincoln Center Out of Doors. Tan Dun has retooled his scores to three modern kung fu classics—Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon; Hero and The Banquet—into a trio of concertos. Tonight he leads the Metropolis Ensemble on a journey through the resulting Martial Arts Trilogy, reliving all of the drama, glory and ass-kicking of the pictures.
