Ted Daniel and IBMC

A veteran of the storied loft-jazz scene, trumpeter Ted Daniel has worked with heavyweights such as Sonny Sharrock, David Murray and Archie Shepp. More recently, Daniel has divided his time between Duology—his project with reedist Michael Marcus—and the International Brass and Membrane Corporation, a loose, playful outfit featuring violinist Charles Burnham, tuba player Howard Johnson, drummer Newman Taylor Baker and percussionist Orlando Rodriguez. Here the latter group performs as part of the Central Brooklyn Jazz Festival.
