The Afghan Whigs

Cult fave Cincinnati alt-rockers the Afghan Whigs reunited a few years back, and they turn up here in support of a recent effort, Do to the Beast. Famously debauched frontman Greg Dulli & Co. have mellowed over the years, but they've clearly retained their signature noirish allure. On Oct 4, Daptone-abetted song man Charles Bradley, a showstopping performer with a searing, James Brown–esque rasp, opens. On Oct 5, singer-songwriter and painter Joseph Arthur opens.
