For the long-running, long-jamming Allman Brothers Band, 2012 was something of a banner year: The group picked up a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Grammys, and honored the 40th anniversary of its iconic double album, Eat a Peach, at its annual March residency at the Beacon Theatre.
