The Amit Chaudhuri Band + Qian Yi

The second of two evenings of Chinese and Indian innovation splits the bill between the Amit Chaudhuri Band, which puts a ragga spin on rock, and vice versa; and Qian Yi, a Kunqu opera star recently seen in a San Francisco Opera adaptation of Amy Tan's The Bonesetter's Daughter, who performs here alongside protean New York composer Du Yun and pipa virtuoso Min Xiao-Fen.
