Vivian Girl Cassie Ramone and Woods bassist Kevin Morby share songwriting duties in the jangly local garage-pop outfit the Babies, which gigs tonight in support of its recent, second LP, Our House on the Hill. Also on board here is Waxahatchee—the spare, vulnerable indie-pop project of singer-songsmith Katie Crutchfield—heard lately on its own sophomore effort, the much-fussed-over Cerulean Salt.
