Time Out says

Formed in 1939 at the Alabama Institute for the Negro Blind, the Blind Boys of Alabama have in recent years covered Funkadelic and the Rolling Stones, recorded a freaky album with pedal-steel prodigy Robert Randolph, and shared bills with Prince (at a club) and Dylan (at the White House). This week, the group—by now whittled down to just one original member, Jimmy Carter—spearheads its own three-night festival. Tonight turns the focus to country and bluegrass, with appearances by the genre's master Ralph Stanley as well as the Yonder Mountain String Band, Nickelcreek's Sara Watkins, Asleep at the Wheel members Ray Benson and Jason Roberts, and singer-songwriter Allison Moorer.
