The Checkout: Live from 92YTribeca featuring Dave Douglas Quintet with Aoife O'Donovan

The 92YTribeca jazz series hosted by WBGO's exemplary program The Checkout offers a special Festival of New Trumpet Music presentation featuring horn VIP and FONT main man Dave Douglas. During the first set, Douglas and his bandmates welcome singer Aoife O’Donovan (of the modern bluegrass outfit Crooked Still) in a presentation of pieces from the forthcoming Be Still, which pairs the leader's burnished tone with O’Donovan's soothing vocals.
