The Decemberists + Wye Oak

Portland, OR's Decemberists attract a nerdily passionate following thanks to their knowing (and to some, pretentious) indie-antiquarianism. Tonight, fans can thrill to the sound of songs from the band's brand-new, sixth album, The King Is Dead—and we have to say, the ornate Beacon Theatre is the perfect venue for the show. Opening is the great Wye Oak, a Baltimore duo featuring the dynamite singer Jenn Wasner.
