The Dodos + Gauntlet Hair

The Dodos are singer Meric Long and drummer Logan Kroeber; unlike most such duos, the San Francisco combo does not sound like an autocracy. Rather, their songs pivot and shuffle around Kroeber’s percussion, which at times augments the calming lilt of Long’s singing, but just as often undermines that mood. Tonight the band plugs its fourth full-length, No Color, with support from Dead Oceans' new signing, the Denver duo Gauntlet Hair.
