Electronic producer Abyss X shrouds arcane chants and obscure percussive samples behind layers of menacing synthesizer fog—an ominous concoction that meshes well with her labelmates on avant-electronic mastermind Rabit's label Halcyon Veil. Here, she performs an original score for a screening of Gregg Araki's new queer cinema classic The Doom Generation. Our favorite element of the blithely provocative road movie is James Duval’s Keanu-on-Quaaludes shtick.
