Reedists Chris Speed and Oscar Norieg, along with bassist Trevor Dunn—all local progressive-jazz all-stars and bandmates in the group Endangered Blood—hit Barbès as part of a different quartet, rounded out by guitarist Brandon Seabrook. Intriguingly, Noriega switches to drums for the evening.
