The Go! Team + Superhuman Happiness + Glockabelle

The Go! Team stocks its music with grainy samples evoking a mishmash of early hip-hop, soul songs vaguely remembered from ’70s children’s shows, and the angelically funky chants of double-Dutch jump-ropers. The sound is at once novel and nostalgic—a rare, but not contradictory, combination. Reedman Stuart Bogie, best known for his work with Antibalas, open with his Superhuman Happiness project which traffics in atmospheric funk-pop instrumentals.
