The Golden Filter + The Hundred in the Hands

Fueled by glistening disco, tense punk and a hint of recession politics, the Hundred in the Hands' music springs from that sliver of the early ’80s in which pop was personal, arty and potentially angry. The band, signed to Warp, pairs former Boggs leader Jason Friedman with the chilly singer Eleanore Everdell.
