The Henry Grimes Quartet

Avant-jazz bass legend Henry Grimes, who shone during a June Village Vanguard run by the Marc Ribot Trio, turns up in midtown with a band of his own. The lineup is a stunner: veteran pianist Dave Burrell, prodigious drummer Tyshawn Sorey and Argentine saxist Roberto Pettinato (well known in his homeland but a new name to us).
