The Hush Sound juggles Spoon-like indie rock and theatrical piano pop, making for a fun, bubbly blend. The coed Chicago quartet, on hiatus since ’08, reunited last year and this spring released a new EP, 45, with a full album in the works. Indie-electro hotshots Hockey are also making a comeback, having upped sticks from Portland, OR, to Brooklyn, to make new album Wyeth IS.
