The Improvised Traumdeutung: The Austrian Scene

Experimental-improv heavies such as trumpeter Franz Hautzinger, guitarists Burkhard Stangl and Martin Siewert, and saxist John O'Gallagher turn up for a mini fest in conjunction with the Austrian Cultural Forum's Vienna: City of Dreams series. Expect plenty of references, both explicit and implicit, to Anton Webern, whose groundbreaking 12-tone works serve as a thematic linchpin of the event.
