Wales-hatched, London-based indie-rock trio the Joy Formidable has gotten big props for its album The Big Roar, and, perhaps more so, for its high-energy live show. A Place to Bury Strangers, which plays the type of aggro electro-goth rock that we immediately associate with those black-clad misfits in ’80s teen movies, lends support.
