The Knights

The Naumburg Orchestral Concerts’ 106th season of free summer concerts kicks off with the young orchestra out of Brooklyn. It premieres Tempelhof Etude by Lisa Bielawa (who worked with the group on her recent CD Chance Encounter, on Philip Glass's label Orange Mountain Music) and meditates on Morton Feldman's lovely Madame Press Died Last Week at 90, before whipping out Beethoven's Fifth Symphony to keep the masses satisfied.
