The Lowbrow Reader Variety Hour with Jeffrey Lewis + Hess Is More + Jon Friedman + Joe Mande

Excellent comedy journal The Lowbrow Reader (edited by TONY writer Jay Ruttenberg) celebrates a new issue in the cozy confines of the Housing Works Bookstore Cafe. Tonight's bill features comic-book whiz and scruffy antifolk hero Jeffrey Lewis and Danish electro-charmer Mikkel Hess, plus turns from comedians Jon Friedman (the Rejection Show) and Joe Mande (our Best New Comedian of 2009). All this and a steady flow of tea and cake? Yeah, we're pretty psyched too.
