The Mahavishnu Project

Gregg Bendian's muscular tribute band is normally devoted to music by the Mahavishnu Orchestra, John McLaughlin's incendiary early-fusion ensemble. Now, the band expands its sights to include another English six-string hero, Jeff Beck, as well as Mahavishnu keyboard god (and Miami Vice composer) Jan Hammer. Jon Herington, Steely Dan's star guitarist, sits in with the band.
