Fabio Luisi leads the mighty Metropolitan Opera players in one of their consistently satisfying concert-platform outings. On the bill are Sofia Gubaidulina's In tempus praesens, Beethoven's "Emperor" Concerto (with pianist Yefim Bronfman as soloist) and Stravinsky's Firebird Suite.
