In the '90s, the Mother Hips made a name for themselves in the Bay Area, before disbanding. Reunited since 2004, the band still plays tunes redolent of Cobain-era alt rock, with shades of ’60s West Coast psychedelia. At this Bowery show, the group plugs its new album, Behind Beyond.
