The Music of Can: An Evening of Unreleased Music and Discussion

Although it's not a concert, tonight's event will prove irresistable to lovers of Can, a quirky band of German modernist eggheads turned rockers that created the blueprint for postpunk, postrock and more. Celebrating the release of The Lost Tapes, a sprawling new 3-CD package of outtakes spanning 1968–77, band member Irmin Schmidt makes what's claimed to be his final U.S. visit to chat with compilation collaborator Jono Podmore and play samples from the set.
