The Posies

Centered on the songs and voices of Jon Auer and Ken Stringfellow, the Posies made some of the most sophisticated pop of the late '80s/mid-'90s, rich with a musicality. Marrying late-'60s bubblegum harmonies with the epic grandeur of Big Star and Badfinger, the band released a series of albums and toured in a latter-day version of Big Star. Tonight they celebrate the release of a new album, Blood/Candy.
