The Quavers

Brooklyn band the Quavers issued Lit by Your Phone, an arresting debut album filled with dusty, dreamy, tech-limned songs, in 2007. But they didn't get around to issuing their follow-up, Fell Asleep on a Train, until last year, since founder T. Griffin was touring with the late Vic Chesnutt's band. Happily, the latest disc—which features members of Fugazi and Godspeed You! Black Emperor—was more than worth the wait.
